It's not enough of a crime that you take $1000 more than necessary off every man woman and child in New Zealand every year. Nooooo, ya had to go and gamble it on the stock market and bloody well lose it all! Prize pillocks.
Meanwhile, witness what motivated individuals can do with public money. Private investment beats bureaucracies every time. Wayne Patterson took WINZ money and made the government $467,000! And yet, rather than congratulate him, the state gives him eight years! Crazy.
We really should get these two men, Cullen and Patterson, to swap places. Governor Pontius Satyanand should drag Dr Cullen onto the steps of Aotea Square and ask "What should I do with this man?" And we would all scream "Crucify him! Bring us Patterson!"
Labour voters, Cullen must die for your sins.
What Paterson did is illegal and he deserves to be where he is. On priciple he MUST do his time or justice is not served.
