Good News for ACT

My biggest fear for the coming budget was that Michael Cullen would undercut ACT to some extent by introducing a tax free threshold.

Aren't I silly?  Being so naive as to believe Labour cared about working class people and the working poor!

Now it looks like ACT has this policy all to itself.  No tax on the first $20k of income, as is the case in most civilised countries, and no 39c rate.  Plus we'll probably keep whatever Labour promise.  Eeeeexcellent.  Go forth and campaign brothers and sisters.
