Pity Party for Josef Fritzl

Apparently this depraved monster is a nice guy really.

"Josef Fritzl... insisted that he was "not a monster" yesterday and claimed that he was the victim of a one-sided media campaign to discredit him."

That biased liberal media!  Can't they leave a man to imprison and rape his own daughter in peace?

Personally I think the best sentence would be to lock him in the same cellar with a hole to put through the minimum requirements of keeping him alive.

I think a passionate reaction to this horror is a healthy reaction personally. If this case doesn't make your blood boil, are you really human? Are we all supposed to sit around anemically and calmly? I abhor violence and I would faint at the sight of blood, but this case made me so upset that I felt like I could kill this guy with my bare hands if I had the chance. Now would I really do that? No. There is a marked difference between venting and actually DOING. Sometimes we need to vent a little because life is so frustrating and unjust.

When I read this it made me flinch due to its graphic detail but it also made me laugh. It was FUNNY! IT was the first funny comment I read concerning this case and it was good for the soul ~~ It combined the need to see justice done with humor so it was perfect.
