Thought Provoking Polls

Ooops!  It looks like UK Labour are well and truly f*cked!  23%!  Wouldn't it be nice if we reduced Labour in this country to that figure.  And kept them there!

Some fascinating polls coming out of America right now as well.  Who would have thought that Hillary Clinton had a better chance of beating McCain than Obama?  And if you look at the electoral college maps you can see why.  The Jewish vote in Florida comes out for Clinton, but not Obama, as does the white working class vote in the rust belt.  That's enough to tip the balance in favour of Hillary as far as the superdelegates go.  Those swing states just aren't going to fall for Obama, and if the superdelegates are smart, they will pick Clinton.  Of course, if they did so, there is a high chance that they will alienate their African American base, but the reality is that they are concentrated in mostly unwinnable red states.  OTOH, Hillary will wipe the floor with the NAFTA-supporting McCain in the rust belt.

Is it over for the Hilldog?  Based on this analysis I would say no, but the Democrats do not have a reputation for rational thought, or picking the best candidate for the job.

Yes, Clinton is dead and buried unless Obama declares himself as a soul mate of Bin Laden.

I actaully liked his speeches about bring the US together and lifting all people to a great vision.

Problem is that his words do not match his actions.
